Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Food and service are top quality. Naturally leavened pizza crust. Delicious entrees- my eggplant was sliced and cooked perfectly. Gelato and coffee is made in house - delicious."
"Food was decent but overpriced in my honest opinion. Pizza was made fresh and from scratch. Brick oven, authentic Italian pizza. The pizza is what I’d imagine I’d get if I went to Italy. Wasn’t over the top fancy but it was good and you can tell it was fresh ingredients. Dough is homemade sourdough and thin crust but that’s by design and it was quite tasty. Fried calamari actually didn’t taste premade. Appeared to be breaded and fried at the restaurant and not premade prebought. They claim the Gelato is homemade on site as well. That was good as well. Atmosphere and service was great. Not busy at all on a Friday night. Only 5 of us in the whole restaurant…. Not sure what to make of that honestly. All food pictured cost $50. We got water."
"For drinks, we got an iced cappuccino and an iced mocha. For food, we got a Mediterranean shrimp salad and a sausage and green pepper pizza, well done. The salad was excellent, and the NY style pizza was on point. Foldable with a good crunch on the dough. Everything we ate was excellent, the service was great, and we enjoyed the ambiance."
"Had a nice family lunch, we tried 3 different pies. Chicken, bacon and ranch, Sicilian, and traditional. Our waitress was great. The expresso with the cold foam was delicious. All the best to this little family business."
"What a great little restaurant, we're from out of town. The pizza had fresh toppings and seasonings the crust was cooked perfectly a small was perfect size for me and my husband. They have have a full bar and great beer list. Our waitress recommended a beer and she was spot on. A must stop"
"We had a pleasant lunch experience there this afternoon. Although we had to wait a little while, it was worth it in the end. The parking lot is massive, which is very convenient. The food was delicious, and there's something for everyone on the menu. It's a great place for families since all ages are welcome."
"Travelling from Upstate NY to family in PA for the first time. I was super hungry and we also wanted fun drinks (taking a break from coffee, so matcha or chai). We also try to go to small businesses whenever possible. Found Carini's on our route and they had lattes, matcha, pizza, and Italian sandwiches! They had non-dairy milk options too. I got the Freddo Matcha Latte (Iced with Cold Foam I think) & it was soooo good, on the expensive side, but no more expensive than most of the places we go these days. And the sandwiches, oh man. I think the bread we got was fresh out of the oven. The bread was so warm, fluffy, and delicious. Some of the best sandwich bread I've had. I got the Chicken Parm Sandwich & my husband got the pesto sausage & peppers one. Both were fresh, hot, & delicious. AND it all came out within 10 min, since we were taking it to-go. Cute inside too with friendly staff & clean bathrooms. This will probably be a go-to stop for us."
"Alissa was a great server, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The beer selection was amazing with 6 Trappist Breweries and a Utopius bottle on the upper shelves. Homemade Gelato for dessert, we are happy campers."
